Ms. Carter Helmcamp

I am one of our 5th Grade teachers here at Haun Elementary and look forward to helping each student enjoy learning by establishing a studious and comforting environment. I love educating and challenging students to make real world connections and find their true passions! I am from a family of educators and have always found myself wanting to teach. I encourage students to take an active role in their learning, embrace making errors along the way, and be confident in their skills and abilities.

Aside from teaching, I am a volleyball coach and find so much joy in sharing a true passion of mine. I graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) while playing Division 1 Collegiate Volleyball and am originally from McAllen, Texas.

Since being at Haun, I have felt so grateful to be a part of such an amazing staff and community. Go Huskies!
