Vandiver, Alana

I have been working in education since 2014 and have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. I came to Haun in the fall of 2020 and was so touched by how warmly I was welcomed into this amazing community. The Haun family continues to be such an incredible place to be a part of!

I am a Texas native by birth but grew up in New Mexico, attended college in Arkansas, and later lived in Colorado, where I earned my teaching degree. It was there that I met my husband, Tyler, and together we made our way back to Texas. We now have three wonderful kids—Gracie, Wyatt, and Ollie—who keep life busy, joyful, and full of fun.

Outside of the classroom, I’m a ride or die fan of the Texas Rangers and the Oklahoma Sooners. I love to read, spend time outdoors, and watch my kids play baseball and dance! I truly love what I do and look forward to working with and getting to know each and every one of you this school year!
